Navel gazing insights

I wanted to chronicle some of the interesting insights I acquired as I read various and sundry books and articles. Also, as I work to move from Curmudgeon to the coveted Hermit status I wanted to pass on wisdom and knowledge. I might welcome comments but they must rise to a certain level of thought before any chance of acknowledgment.
